Canada take-home pay calculator

Estimate what remains from an annual salary after federal income tax, Ontario tax, CPP, CPP2 and Employment Insurance.

Canada · 2026 calendar year · default is an editable general example.

Ontario is the first verified province. Other provinces and territories, and Québec's separate QPP/QPIP rules, are being added only after their payroll formulas are validated.

What this Canadian calculator includes

This first release is for Ontario employees. It applies 2026 federal and Ontario income-tax rates, the Ontario Health Premium, employee CPP and CPP2 contributions, and EI premiums.

What is not included

The result assumes standard basic credits only. It does not include RRSP or workplace-pension deductions, benefits, union dues, dependants, tuition or medical credits, bonuses, multiple employers, or other TD1 claims. It is an annual estimate, so a real payslip can differ because payroll withholding is calculated by pay period.

Why Ontario is first

Canadian payroll rules vary by province. Ontario has been implemented from CRA's published 2026 payroll materials; other provinces and territories will be added one at a time after their figures are checked. Québec will need separate QPP and QPIP treatment.

Rates and limits are based on the CRA's July 2026 payroll formulas, Ontario payroll deductions tables and CPP limits.
